The TELUS Sovereign AI Accelerator is welcoming four additional Canadian AI companies to its growing community, bringing together innovative teams building solutions for some of the most critical challenges facing government, defence, financial services and regulated industries.
The new cohort companies are:
AllMind is an AI-native research platform for institutional investors, unifying financial data and internal firm knowledge with finance-focused AI models. Its proprietary financial ontology creates connected institutional context that powers end-to-end research workflows, helping investment teams uncover differentiated insights and make better-informed decisions.
Expertise AI is a Toronto-built enterprise AI company. Expertise AI deploys AI agents for sales and customer experience, combining their platform with forward-deployed engineers who integrate it into customers’ operations. Expertise AI’s agents support EV drivers at Hydro-Québec’s Circuit électrique and customer-care staff at Naturgy.
Findora is a Canadian AI company developing proprietary, neuroscience-inspired AI verification and governance technology for mission-critical government, defence and enterprise applications. Its computationally lightweight, model-agnostic solutions detect hallucinations, assess faithfulness and improve AI reliability while operating locally, on-device, at the edge or in fully air-gapped environments. Findora enables organizations to deploy reliable, auditable and sovereign AI without depending on external cloud services.
Nextria is a Canadian-built, owned and operated AI company delivering sovereign Mission AI for defence, government and regulated industries. Its CastleGuard platform runs on-premises, air-gapped and disconnected, combining secure AI chat, translation and transcription, mission-specific models and CastleGuard Create, enabling customer teams to adapt AI themselves where the cloud cannot operate. Nextria builds its models and research capabilities in Canada and is in active deployment with the Department of National Defence.
These new cohort companies are joining the TELUS Sovereign AI Accelerator, which brings together Canadian AI companies with access to advanced compute infrastructure through the TELUS Sovereign AI Factory, alongside strategic commercialization support from L-SPARK. The program is designed to help companies develop, validate and scale AI solutions while keeping critical data, infrastructure and innovation securely in Canada.
“Canada has the talent and the technology to build AI solutions for some of our most critical industries,” said Leo Lax, Executive Managing Director of L-SPARK. “We’re excited to help these companies scale their businesses while building AI here in Canada.”
As the Canadian AI ecosystem continues to evolve, sovereign infrastructure and commercialization expertise will play an increasingly important role in helping companies move from promising technology to real-world deployment and global scale.
