SuitePad is redefining the way guests interact with hotels through its sleek, easy-to-use in-room tablets – technology guests actually want to use. As one of eight companies selected for the Mitel Unified Communications (UC) Accelerator, SuitePad is working alongside L-SPARK and Mitel experts to refine its integrations and accelerate growth.
That growth is already well underway: SuitePad’s in-room tablets are deployed in more than 1,000 hotels and 70,000 guest rooms across 30+ countries. Its performance-based pricing model makes adoption easy for hotels, with no upfront costs or fixed software fees. Charges are only applied when guests actively engage and transactions are made, ensuring clear ROI from day one.
We sat down with Moritz von Petersdorff-Campen, SuitePad Founder and Managing Director, to talk about the company’s journey, its vision for hospitality innovation, and how the Mitel UC Accelerator is shaping what’s next.
Moritz, what problem are you solving, and why is now the right moment to solve it?
“Most hotel orders today still come in through the phone, while outside the hotel world, consumers have already shifted to fully digital platforms like DoorDash and Uber Eats. Guests are clearly ready for this digital transformation, and they expect the same convenience inside the hotel as they do everywhere else in their daily lives. Hotels, however, are at risk of being left behind if they don’t adapt quickly.”
How do you see your solution changing the way enterprises or customers operate?
“Our solution streamlines the way hotels operate by connecting guest requests directly to the right person, eliminating inefficiencies and delays. This not only reduces costs but also opens new opportunities for upselling, creating fresh revenue streams. Looking ahead, AI will play a central role—helping hotels deliver more personalized and seamless guest experiences while at the same time making operations leaner and more efficient.”
How does working within the Mitel UC Accelerator open up new opportunities for SuitePad?
“Working within the Mitel UC Accelerator allows us to enhance our product by combining the reliability of Mitel’s established solutions with the innovation of SuitePad. Together, we can deliver a stronger, future-ready offering that meets hotels exactly where it matters most. Beyond the product side, Mitel’s global partner network opens the door for us to bring SuitePad to new international markets, accelerating our ability to scale and reach hotels worldwide.”
In what ways do you see your solution complementing or extending Mitel’s technology?
“Fewer and fewer guests use traditional room phones, yet they remain necessary for requests that require human handling and for regulatory compliance. By combining SuitePad with Mitel’s technology, hotels can meet these requirements while ensuring that the majority of guest interactions and orders flow through a modern, digital interface. This way, hotels deliver the convenience guests expect while still maintaining reliability, compliance and personal contact when needed.”
What’s your long-term vision for the company and the impact you want to have?
“Our long-term vision is to make in-room guest engagement hardware as common in hotels as the room phone once was. Devices that replace the phone and TV remote will become smart companions that enhance every stay, making the guest experience smoother, faster, and more personalized. By doing so, we will touch the journeys of millions of travelers worldwide while helping hotels run more efficiently and profitably.”
Thanks, Moritz. To wrap things up – what does success in this program look like for you?
“For us, success means turning the great product innovations we have in the pipeline into real market impact. We want to bring these solutions to market quickly and, through the program, identify the first partners who can successfully sell them and prove their value with customers.”
Today, SuitePad’s integration with Mitel Communication Solutions is already delivering value in hotels across Europe, where its in-room tablets double as a guest engagement hub and a fully functional VoIP phone, seamlessly connecting travelers with hotel staff while simplifying communication workflows. This integration is just the beginning. Through the Mitel Unified Communications Accelerator, SuitePad is exploring deeper use cases – innovations that will further elevate the guest experience while helping hotels unlock efficiency and revenue growth.
