Ottawa-based Buildmetric Supports Tarion's Shift from Paper to Digital Forms

L-SPARK SaaS Startup Creates Platform that Enables Builders to Seamlessly Complete and Submit Warranty Forms Digitally

Ottawa, Ontario, May 31, 2016 – Ontario provider of new home warranties Tarion has recently announced they will no longer accept paper submissions of Certification of Completion and Possession (CCP) forms from builders registered on BuilderLink.

Builders are required to comply with this new rule as of June 2016. This new requirement is especially important as the Certification of Completion and Possession forms are a critical step in the handover of a home builder to a buyer.

Buildmetric, an Ottawa-based provider of business management software tools for the services industry, will be able to support this transition using their New Home Warranty management software. The tool will allow builders to directly complete online forms on their mobile device from anywhere. Currently, they are the only vendor that can support this transition from paper to digital forms.

Builders registered on BuilderLink will be able to pre-populate forms with the data stored in their profiles. Automating this process will reduce errors and eliminate the inefficiency in manually filling out and submitting paper documents.

Buildmetric can integrate with a builder’s BuilderLink profile and will pre-populate CCP documents with data. The mobile-friendly platform also supports electronic signatures, enabling personnel to easily complete and submit warranty documents on-site.
